Responsibilities & Achievements
URS/Mott MacDonald JV HS2. Lead MEP Engineer for the preparation of the Hybrid bill for Contract C221, Tunnels section from Euston Portal to Ruislip Portal (approx 26km) including 5 intervention shafts and the new 16 platform Old Oak Common station. Development of reduced cost solutions supported by sound technical evidence that provides a firm foundation for ongoing design works.
Development of the RIBA B optioneering report (comprising seven different options) for the provision of HV non-traction power supplies for all trackside electrical loads from and including Euston to Curzon Street stations plus all sub-surface intervention shafts.
Crossrail Paddington Integration Project MEPFC Design Manager for the RIBA F2 commercial, design & technical Assurance, Engineering Safety Management, claims, EWN’s, submissions of the new LUL ticket hall and platforms upgrade for the H&C Line, New Network Rail Taxi deck, lifts and escalators, ticket hall, barriers.
Crossrail Project contract 164 (Non Traction HV Power 22 & 11kV) Interface Manager. Creation of the works information for the design & build of Crossrail. Day to day interfacing & directing fellow FDC teams (Arup, Atkins, Capita, Hyder, Jacobs, Motts, Scott Wilson & WSP) developing technical solutions for HV systems across 9 stations, 5 shafts and 5 portals for the provision of cable routes and 26 sub-stations plus 8 Bulk Supply Points to GRIP 4 (RIBA D).
London Overground East London Line Project- NEC contract with Balfour Beatty Carilion JV. Project Manager & MEP Technical lead for the design from concept through to production of installation drawings for 4 No new stations and new Operational Building Complex. Full E&M design team consisted of 16 Engineers & 12 CAD Operators. Build cost £235M.
